Cemetery Books for Sale  (Click for listing of books published by the Berrien County Genealogical Society)

The Berrien County Genealogical Society has compiled books on some of the cemeteries in Berrien County.  These books were compiled from the information found on headstones and additional information has been researched on the microfilmed records of Berrien County. Cemetery Searches by BCGS members

The Berrien County Genealogical Society offers Surname searches in some of the Berrien County Cemeteries. The search is $6.00 per surname, paid in advance & It will be refunded if we cannot find the surname you requested.

We will only offer searches in the cemeteries that have been transcribed in book format and may be purchased from the society. As we progress in our cemetery book publications, we will offer more township cemeteries to be searched.

GRAVE MATTERS. Washington State Cemetery Web pages teaches about proper gravestone cleaning and some cemetery do's and don'ts, plus step-by-step instructions for using four forms  -- Cemetery Survey, Survey Sheets (for individual stones), Photograph Listing, and Gravestone Assessment. There are also instructions (with photos) for pinning a headstone/base stone to a concrete footing.
